Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 12, 2026
Frametrip ("we," "our," or "us") places a high priority on safeguarding your privacy and securing your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines the methods by which we gather, utilize, store, and protect your data when you use our Frametrip mobile application (designed for iOS devices) and its associated services (collectively referred to as the "Service").
Frametrip (referred to as the "Developer") acts as the data controller accountable for processing your personal information within the Frametrip app. You may contact us via email at [email protected].
Frametrip is an AI-powered application dedicated to transforming travel photos, enabling you to convert your personal travel snapshots into stylized artworks using a variety of AI-driven templates, styles, frames, and creative effects. We recognize that when you use our Service, you are entrusting us with your personal information and visual content, and we treat this responsibility with the utmost seriousness.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Frametrip application, regardless of whether you access it via iOS devices or other compatible platforms. By using our Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using our Service.
We urge you to carefully read this Privacy Policy and contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding our privacy practices. We are dedicated to transparency in how we handle data and will consistently strive to protect your privacy while delivering the best possible user experience.
We may revise this Privacy Policy in response to changes in our service functions and personal information protection measures. Should we make any modifications to this Privacy Policy, we will update it through our App. Therefore, we recommend that you review this page regularly to stay informed of any changes.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
When you set up an account with Frametrip, we gather specific personal information that you voluntarily provide. This includes data obtained through third-party authentication services.
- If you opt to sign up using your Apple ID, we may receive certain information from this platform—such as your email address, name, and profile picture—depending on your privacy settings with Apple.
- If you opt to sign up using your Google account, we may receive certain information from this platform—such as your email address, name, and profile picture—depending on your privacy settings with Google.
We do not ask you to provide any additional personal information beyond what is essential for creating and maintaining your account.
1.2 Visual Content and Travel Images
Photo Library Access. To allow you to select and upload your personal travel photos, Frametrip requires access to your iOS device's photo library. We will only request this permission when you choose to upload an image, and you have the option to grant or deny this access. You can revoke photo library access at any time through your device's Settings app. If you choose to take photos directly within the App, the photos you take will be treated the same as uploaded photos, subject to the same privacy protection and processing rules.
Upload and Processing. As an AI-powered travel photo transformation tool, Frametrip processes the visual content you upload, which includes photographs of travel destinations, yourself, friends, or family taken during your trips (referred to as "Visual Content"). When you upload content to our Service, we analyze various aspects of your images to deliver our AI transformation features.
When you upload photos to Frametrip, we ensure that this Visual Content is transmitted securely and encrypted when sent to our server. Our artificial intelligence algorithm analyzes the photos you upload and applies them to the template, style, or frame you select to generate stylized travel artwork. It is important to note that no biometric data is collected or processed during this process.
We do not employ facial recognition technology to identify specific individuals. Additionally, we do not create biometric identifiers, faceprints, or user profiles based on the features detected in your photos. All detection data is temporary and used solely to apply the selected effect.
Data Usage Commitment. We process your Visual Content on Frametrip's server solely for the purpose of generating the stylized travel artwork you request. We do not sell your Visual Content to third parties, and your images and related data will not be used for marketing or advertising purposes without your explicit permission.
1.3 Device and Technical Information
We automatically gather certain technical details about your device and your interaction with our Service. This includes your device type (iOS model), unique device identifiers, app version, and mobile network information. We also collect data about your app usage patterns, such as crash reports, and performance metrics.
This technical information is shared with Adjust, our analytics service provider, to help us understand how our Service is used, identify and resolve technical issues, enhance performance, and ensure compatibility across different iOS devices.
1.4 Usage and Analytics Data
We collect information about how you engage with our Service, including the features you use, the templates/styles/frames you select, credit/token usage, and your content creation habits. This usage data is shared with Adjust to help us understand user preferences, guide the development of our features, and create new offerings that better serve our travel-focused user community. This data does not include your Visual Content or generated images.
1.5 Credit/Token Information
We maintain records of your credit/token balance, purchase history, and usage of virtual currency within the App. This information is necessary to provide the Service and manage your account. Credit transactions are handled through the Apple App Store, and we do not directly collect or store your payment information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may process your Personal Information for the following objectives:

2.5 AI Model Training and Improvement
We do not use your uploaded Visual Content, generated output, or any personal data to train, enhance, or refine our artificial intelligence models or machine learning algorithms. Your content is used exclusively to provide the specific generation service you request at that time. Any improvements to our algorithms are based solely on aggregated, anonymized usage statistics.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
